Overview

See what ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can read on any page, which AI bots your robots.txt blocks, and how to fix it.

The crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity don't run JavaScript. If your page builds its content with JavaScript, AI search may see an almost empty page and cite someone else. AI Visibility Checker shows you, in one click, what these crawlers can read. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any page and click the extension icon. 2. Get a score: how much of the page's visible text is in the HTML your server sends. That HTML is all AI crawlers read. 3. Read the fixes, most important first, in plain English. WHAT IT CHECKS • Content AI can't see: text, headings and links that only appear after JavaScript runs. Click "Highlight on page" to outline them in red. • AI bots in robots.txt: whether 16 crawlers used for AI search and AI training may visit the page. Search bots and training bots are listed separately, because blocking a search bot stops citations and blocking a training bot doesn't. • Signals: title, meta description, canonical, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and structured data, and whether each one is in the HTML or added by JavaScript. • llms.txt: whether the site has one. • "Copy what AI sees" copies the plain text AI crawlers get from the page. GOOD FOR • SEO specialists checking client sites • Developers testing sites built with JavaScript frameworks • Store owners using website builders • Anyone who wants their pages to show up in AI answers PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs in your browser. No account, no tracking, and nothing is sent to MPG ONE. The extension reads a page only when you click its icon. It then downloads that page, its robots.txt and its llms.txt from the same website, the way a crawler would. Privacy policy: https://mpgone.com/privacy-policy/chrome-extensions/ DOES AI ACTUALLY CITE YOU? Being readable is step one. PageCue, also by MPG ONE, tracks whether AI search cites your pages, and who it cites instead. Free, with no daily limits. Made by MPG ONE, the team behind the Dofollow & Nofollow Backlink Checker. AI Visibility Checker is not affiliated with any AI company.
