AI Video Score adds a small badge to videos on supported social media sites, so you can tell at a glance whether what you're watching may have been generated by AI. HOW IT WORKS As you scroll your feed, the extension analyzes the video and shows a color-coded badge in the corner — usually within seconds: 🟢 Likely real 🟡 Uncertain — when a result is borderline, the extension takes a second look before deciding 🔴 Likely AI It works across major short-form and feed-based video platforms. WHY IT EXISTS AI-generated content is flooding social feeds — fake wildlife footage, synthetic clips, scenes presented as real events. Most is harmless engagement bait; some is designed to mislead. This extension gives you a fast signal before you trust, share, or react. It was built by a VFX artist after a family member shared an AI video that looked completely real. FREE DURING EARLY ACCESS AI Video Score is free, with a limited number of deep scans per day while we're in early testing. Community-cached results and platform AI labels don't use your daily scans. Because each deep scan runs on a paid detection service, a small affordable plan is on the way — and a free tier stays. IF A SCORE LOOKS WRONG Click the "Wrong?" button on the badge. That feedback helps improve detection for everyone. PRIVACY To score a video, the extension analyzes its video frames and may read public comments and hashtags to surface community AI flags. AI detection is an evolving field, and the badge can be wrong in both directions — real videos sometimes get flagged, and AI videos sometimes slip through. It's less reliable on a few hard cases like photorealistic AI animals, drone footage, and heavily-stylized real clips. Treat the score as one quick signal to inform your own judgment, not a final verdict. STATUS This is a free public beta.
