AI Trace shows you how companies use artificial intelligence while you browse the web. Visit any tracked company's website and instantly see their documented AI practices, organized by category, with cited sources and community verification. AI Trace is a free, nonprofit transparency platform. Every AI practice we document is backed by evidence, from company disclosures to news articles to regulatory filings. We track what companies do with AI, not how people should feel about it. The extension is lightweight and privacy-respecting. It reads only the current tab URL to identify the website you are visiting. It does not access page content, inject scripts, track browsing history, or collect personal data. All data is fetched from the public API at aitrace.org.
