AI Toolbox

AI Toolbox is a browser extension that allows you to use a variety of AI tools in your browser.

AI Toolbox brings lightweight AI helpers into Chrome’s side panel so you can work without sending pages to an external chat site. Chat Ask questions and continue a conversation with a local text-generation model. Adjust the model, system prompt, memory, limits, and timeouts in Options. OCR Pull text from images: upload a file in the extension or use right‑click → AI Toolbox → Extract Text (OCR) on an image on the page. Transcription Transcribe audio and video files locally, with long files processed in segments and results streamed into the text area. Quick actions from the page Select text, right‑click AI Toolbox, and send the selection to chat for summaries, grammar review, plain-language explanations, action items, or critique—the side panel opens with a ready-made prompt. Privacy note Processing runs in your browser using downloaded models; your pages and media are not sent to us as a backend service. First use may download model assets; performance depends on your device (WebGPU where available).
