Overview
Sync files/diffs to local disk, and pack repository context into AI Studio.
Connect Google AI Studio to a local project folder. AI Studio Local File Sync helps developers move between AI Studio and their local codebase without copy-pasting files manually. Features: • Save individual code blocks or entire AI responses to disk • Apply SEARCH/REPLACE and unified diffs to existing files • Review changes visually before writing them • Edit generated code before saving • Undo the last synchronization, including newly created files • Browse your repository by folders, files, size, and estimated token usage • Respect .gitignore rules and custom exclusion patterns • Insert selected local files, directory trees, or packed codebase context into AI Studio prompts • For large pasted contexts, AI Studio may display the content as an attachment card Privacy: All processing happens locally in your browser. The extension has no backend, analytics, telemetry, or third-party servers. Files are read only from a folder that you explicitly select. This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Google AI Studio is a trademark of Google LLC.
