It works beautifully. Thank you for creating this. I give it 5 stars. Sadly, I won't be able to use it as is because, apparently it installs but doesn't work on Thorium browser (a chromium based browser.) I thought that might be the case so I tested it in Chrome and it worked great. Maybe one day for Thorium!

This Chrome extension is pretty handy. The microphone feature is easy to use and makes chatting with ChatGPT convenient. The speech recognition is solid, so I don't have to type as much. Definitely a useful tool.

Hi Hans, I see that you claim that "claude gemini chatgpt" all don't work, however, I just verified that it works for Chatgpt and Claude as of today 13.7.24. Can you provide provide some details for what you mean "does not work" so I can take a look at your situation? Can you please at least give me a chance to take at your situation before dropping a 2 star review? This kind of thing is better suited for User Support where you can describe your situation I can work with you to address it. I did see that today the Perplexity click through didn't complete so I'm going to push up a new change for 1.6 to address that. These things happen for extensions because the extension sits on top of the base html structure and whenever the base structure, Perplexity in this case, changes its code then the extension needs to change along with it to maintain its connection. The good news is that these small changes are super fast and easy to make. By the way, this extension says it only works for Chatgpt, Perplexity, and Claude so I'm not sure why you are complaining that it does not work for Gemini since I never say it works for Gemini. I say it works for Chatgpt, Perplexity, and Claude. Thanks, Robert

It's a really useful tool, and I find that I use ChatGPT and Perplexity a lot more often now that I don't have to type. Definitely worth a try.

I've been using AI Speakeasy a lot lately, and it’s awesome! It makes chatting with ChatGPT and other AI chatbots like Perplexity and Claude super easy. Just talk, and it turns your voice into text—so convenient. I saw someone had trouble with shortcuts, but I didn't have any issues. The instructions were pretty clear to me. Just took a minute to set it up with a custom shortcut (Shift Alt Space) to change the default, and I was good to go. If you need something to quickly transcribe your v... Show more

Nope doesn't work at all . I pinned the short cut but..... not actually a shortcut just a dropdown menu with a bunch of instructions on key combinations on how to activate the mic . of course none of these worked the shift/cntrl/p combo opens my printer interface. Honestly someone or many someone's need their h1b visa revoked .

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear you are not able to follow instructions. The dropdown menu provides detailed guidance on how to change the default keyboard shortcut. Specifically, the first bullet point explains that the shortcut (Shift + Command + P) opens the microphone popup and that you can customize this shortcut under the Keyboard Shortcuts section. For your reference, you can change the shortcut by visiting the following URL: `chrome://extensions/shortcuts`. Alternatively, you can use the links provided in the instructions, which will automatically copy the URL to your clipboard. Here’s a quick summary of how to customize the keyboard shortcut: 1. Click on the toolbar icon to open the introduction popup. 2. In the introduction popup, find the button labeled "Copy URL" and click it, or click on the provided link that says, "To set a custom shortcut such as Control Space, click here." 3. Paste the copied URL into your Chrome browser's address bar. This will take you to the Chrome Extensions Shortcuts page where you can set your preferred shortcut. Now that I am aware Windows users have this default shortcut for printers, I will change the default Shift + Control + P to a different combination, likely Shift + Alt + Y, to avoid this problem. The instructions on changing the shortcut are clearly stated multiple times: in the tutorial video, the Chrome store description, and in the dropdown menu's very first bullet point. This review is misleading and unfair as it overlooks these simple and clear instructions.
