AI Slop Inspector checks the page you're on for writing and design patterns that often appear in AI-generated content. Click the toolbar icon to scan the page. The icon then shows a percentage, the average of the writing score and the interface score. A higher number means more patterns matched. The popup lists every match with a short explanation. Click a match to scroll to it on the page and highlight it. What it checks • Writing: leftover chatbot phrases, stock openings and conclusions, vague sources, inflated claims, hedging and repetitive sentence structure. Available in English and Spanish. • Interface: repeated gradients and glass effects, identical card grids, template page layouts and generic buttons. • Builder markers: public traces left by site builders such as Lovable, Bolt, v0, Framer or Webflow. • Quality: placeholder text and low-contrast copy. These are listed separately because they aren't evidence of AI. Check text Paste text into the popup, or select text on a page before you open it, to score only that passage. This also works on pages the extension can't scan, such as browser settings. It reads regular websites and Google Slides, including text inside embedded page components. What the score means The percentage counts matched rules. It isn't the probability that AI wrote the page. Human writing can trigger matches, and AI content can go unnoticed. A builder marker only shows which tool left a trace on the page. Privacy Scans run in your browser, and only when you click the icon. Nothing is uploaded. There's no account, tracking or background scanning. A report is saved only if you choose Export JSON. Default shortcut: Alt+Shift+L. Previously called Pattern Lens.
