ZPlatform’s AI Prompt Manager is a fast, intuitive extension for organizing, versioning, and reusing your AI prompts for AI tools. Capture prompts as you work, categorize them by topic or workflow, tag for quick retrieval, keep a version trail of every edit, and share or export with one click. What it does: - Saves prompts with title, category, tags, and full content - Categorizes prompts with a managed category list (add/delete) - Searches across title, content, category, and tags - Filters by category and by clicking on tag chips - Versions every edit and lets you view, copy, and revert previous versions - Shares to social, copies to clipboard, or downloads as a .txt - Exports/imports your entire library as JSON - Remembers your UI state (search/filter/editor) between sessions - Offers a double-confirm “Clear All” for safe cleanup Features: Prompts with metadata: Title, Category (dropdown), Tags (comma-separated) and Content & Clickable tag chips for instant filtering. Category management: Choose from existing categories or “+ Add new category…” in the editor and Manage Categories dialog to add/delete categories; deleting unsets that category on affected prompts. Powerful search and filter: Search matches title/content/tags/category and Category dropdown filter; tag chips apply a quick search filter. Version history: Automatic versioning on save: view, copy, revert any version and Version timestamps and notes (Initial, Edited, Reverted). Share and download: Share via Web Share API (when supported) or open social share links (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit) and Download a prompt as a .txt file with one click. Export/Import: Export all prompts and categories as a single JSON file and Import to replace current data (with confirmation). State persistence: Remembers search query, selected category filter, and open editor data so your work continues where you left off. Safety controls: “Clear All” requires two confirmations to prevent accidental data loss. How to use it Getting started 1. Click the extension icon to open the popup. 2. Press “New Prompt,” add content, choose a category (or create one), add tags, and save. Organize by category and tags 1. Use categories for high-level workflows (e.g., “Marketing,” “Coding,” “Emails”). 2. Use tags to pinpoint contexts (e.g., “SEO,” “tone-formal,” “ChatGPT,” “Claude”). 3. Click a tag chip on any prompt to instantly filter by that tag. Search smarter 1. Use the search bar for keywords or tag names; it scans title, content, tags, and category. 2. Combine with the category filter to zero in quickly. Version best practices 1. Save meaningful edits; the extension will create a new version automatically. 2. Use “View” to preview older versions, “Copy” to reuse, and “Revert” to commit an older version as the current one. Share and collaborate 1. Use “Share” to broadcast snippets to social or to copy/paste into chats and docs. 2. Use “Download” to attach prompts to tickets or knowledge bases. Backup and team transfer 1. Use “Export” regularly as a backup or to move setups across devices. 2. Use “Import” on a new browser profile/machine; note that it replaces current prompts/categories (you’ll be asked to confirm). Keep it clean 1. Use “Manage Categories” to prune unused categories. 2. Use “Clear All” if you want a fresh start—double-confirmation ensures safety. Quick reference — UI actions 1. New Prompt: opens the editor 2. Save: adds a new version (or creates the prompt) 3. Edit/Copy/Versions/Download/Share/Delete: per-prompt actions in the list 4. Manage Categories: add/delete categories (deleting unsets it on prompts) 5.
