Total Control: You choose which model to use and what data to process. 🛠️ How to Get It Working To use this extension, you need a local LLM server running on your computer. We recommend using LM Studio. Step 1: Install LM Studio Download and install LM Studio. Open LM Studio and search for a model (e.g., Llama-3-8B or Mistral-7B). Download the model and go to the AI Chat or Local Server tab. In the Local Server tab, click Start Server. It should be running on http://localhost:1234. Step 2: Configure the Extension Once the extension is installed, click the AI Assistant icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the Side Panel. Go to the Settings tab (gear icon). Ensure the Server URL is set to http://localhost:1234 (default for LM Studio). The indicator should turn green if the connection is successful. Step 3: Start Using It! Side Panel: Use the tabs at the top (Dashboard, Analyze, Compose) to access different features. Right-Click: Highlight text on any page and right-click to see the "AI Assistant" menu.
