AI Input Guard

Overview
Protects text, images, and supported file transfers with local rules and optional Presidio services.
AI Input Guard is a local-first Chrome extension that helps prevent accidental exposure of sensitive information when using AI assistants, web applications, documentation tools, and online editors. It checks text when you paste or send it—not while you are typing—and warns you when it detects potentially sensitive information. Key features: Detects API keys, access tokens, credentials, private keys, and encoded secrets Identifies selected PII and financial information Protects text during paste and message submission Lets you redact individual findings before continuing Supports exact-input exceptions for content you explicitly trust Allows custom keyword and regular-expression rules Works across many websites and editable web applications Includes configurable protection controls Processes detection locally inside your browser Does not upload draft text or detected credentials to an external server When sensitive data is found, you can redact selected values, review the findings, keep editing, or explicitly approve the action. AI Input Guard is useful for developers, security teams, employees, agencies, and anyone who works with confidential information while using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, online editors, or other browser-based tools.
