Tired of "I built an app, please give feedback" posts with zero upvotes flooding your feed? AI Deslopper hides AI slop on Reddit using rules YOU define — not someone else's blocklist. HOW IT WORKS Each rule combines up to four conditions, and all of them must be true at the same time (AND): • Keywords or phrases found in the post's title or body (case- and diacritic-insensitive) • Score at or below a threshold (e.g. 0) • Comment count at or above a threshold (e.g. 5) • Only in specific subreddits — or everywhere A post matching any rule is collapsed into a small placeholder naming the rule and the matched keyword. One click reveals the post, another hides it again. Nothing is deleted — you stay in control. TRAIN IT FROM YOUR FEED Every post gets a small "mark as AI slop" button next to its overflow menu. Click it, pick the slop phrase (or just select it in the post text), then add it to an existing rule or create a new one. The dialog validates live against the post you marked: if the rule as configured would NOT hide that post, the offending fields turn red and explain exactly what to change. SEE WHAT IT'S DOING • Toolbar badge counts posts hidden in the current tab • Popup shows the session count and an all-time total • A filtering log lists every post hidden this session — time, title, subreddit, score, comments, rule, and matched keyword PRIVACY No data collection, no analytics, no external servers. Everything runs locally in your browser and your rules stay in local extension storage. The only network requests go to Reddit's own public API, to read post text that isn't present in the feed (image and gallery posts).
