AI Data Leak Guard is a local-first privacy extension that helps you catch sensitive information before it is pasted, submitted, shared, or shown during screen sharing. It scans text fields, paste events, send-style buttons, form submissions, and visible page text for common leak patterns such as API keys, passwords, private keys, tokens, email addresses, phone numbers, payment card numbers, SSNs, addresses, IBANs, IP addresses, and similar private data. Key features: Paste warnings when sensitive data appears in an editable field Send Lock to pause risky form submissions before they leave the browser Local redaction into safe placeholders such as [SECRET_1] or [PERSONAL_1] Screen Shield to blur sensitive text on webpages during demos, recordings, and calls Rule controls for enabling or disabling built-in detections Custom regex rules for team-specific IDs, client codes, or private formats Local warning log with no raw sensitive text stored Privacy-first by design: Detection and redaction run locally in your browser. The extension does not create an account, call a remote API, upload scanned text, or sell user data. Settings, custom rules, and warning logs are stored locally using Chrome storage.
