Content Script — Injected into ChatGPT, Claude, and Google AI Studio pages to render the cost overlay UI. 2. Service Worker — Listens for completed web requests to detect AI API calls finishing in real time. 3. Pricing Engine — When a call completes, the extension extracts the provider name, model name, and token usage from the response, looks up the current price per token from the built-in pricing database, and calculates the exact cost to the nearest fraction of a cent. 4. Overlay UI — The calculated cost is instantly pushed to the overlay widget, which updates live as you chat. Each toast displays a colored provider badge so you always know which provider made the call. 5. Session Tracker — All per-request costs are accumulated into a session total. You can reset the counter at any time. The extension adds no perceptible latency to your browsing or API calls.
