Prepare copied text for the place you need to paste it next. AI Copy Cleaner is a compact Chrome side panel for formatting copied web and AI text for Google Docs, email, Notion, Slack, or Markdown. Choose a destination and press one button, the extension cleans hidden Unicode locally, keeps useful structure where it is supported, then shows the edited result for your review before you copy it. HOW IT WORKS • Copy text from any page or app • Open AI Copy Cleaner from the Chrome toolbar • Choose Google Docs, Email, Notion, Slack, or Markdown • Choose the cleanup choices you want, then press “Prepare for …” • Review the edited text and choose “Copy edited text” when it looks right DESTINATION-AWARE FORMATTING • Google Docs, Email, and Notion: clean semantic HTML with plain-text fallback • Slack: readable Slack-style emphasis, links, lists, code, and table rows • Markdown: GitHub-Flavored Markdown output • Safe headings, lists, links, tables, blockquotes, and code are retained when possible • Scripts, styles, forms, remote media, tracking elements, and unsafe links are removed without being fetched CAREFUL CLEANUP AI Copy Cleaner gives you five independent cleanup choices: hidden characters, Unicode spaces, em dashes, smart punctuation, and emoji. They begin enabled and can be turned off before preparing the text. It continues to preserve legitimate multilingual joiners, right-to-left text, and supported variation selectors when their relevant cleanup choice is enabled. It does not rewrite wording or alter citations.
