AI Context Extractor replaces the usual “copy the URL and paste it into an AI chat” habit with a single shortcut. Press Ctrl+Shift+E (Mac: Cmd+Shift+E), or click the toolbar icon, and the extension copies what you are actually looking at—page title, URL, structured markdown body, outline, optional selection, and capture-quality signals—straight to the clipboard. Browsers already hold authenticated, fully rendered pages (login walls, SPAs, localhost, intranet). Crawlers often cannot. This extension extracts from that rendered DOM and formats the result so you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other AI chat. How it works ⌨️ Trigger with the shortcut or toolbar icon (user gesture only). Scripts inject on demand into the active tab (no permanent content scripts, no broad host permissions). Content is collected, converted to Markdown, secrets-masked, and length-capped. 📋 Output is copied to the clipboard; a toast shows capture grade (Full / Partial / Floor) and estimated tokens. If extraction fails, you still get URL + title (Floor)—never worse than copying the address alone.
