Save ChatGPT and Gemini conversations as readable local files

When you click Capture, AI Chat Exporter reads only the currently open ChatGPT or Gemini conversation, processes it locally in your browser, and stores prepared export data in an extension-local rolling cache of no more than three conversations. Version 1.2.4 does not apply a time-based expiry to this cache. Captured conversations are not sent to a developer-controlled server. Capture history is disabled by default. Use AI Chat Exporter to: • capture the currently open ChatGPT or Gemini conversation; • review detected messages before saving; • export the full conversation or selected messages; • save DOCX, Markdown, TXT, JSON, and HTML files; • create a PDF through Chrome's native print flow; • copy rich HTML and plain text to the clipboard; • preserve useful structure such as headings, lists, tables, code, links, formulas, and available images; • receive a warning when a conversation may not have been captured completely. Exported files remain on the user's device. Settings are stored through Chrome Storage and may be synchronized by Chrome with the user's browser profile. If the user enables capture history, only the latest 50 capture summaries are stored locally. See the privacy policy for complete processing, retention, and deletion details.
