AI Chat Exporter: Local Vault saves supported AI conversations in a private archive stored in your Chrome browser profile. The extension does not require its own account or use a developer-hosted cloud database. Save conversations you want to keep, search their full text locally, and organize them with projects and tags. Before sharing, you can choose individual messages, review capture warnings, and redact sensitive information. Features include: - Save supported AI conversations from the extension popup or context menu - Search saved conversations locally - Organize captures by project, client, company, and tags - Import structured archives and transcript files - Select individual messages for export - Detect likely duplicate conversations - Review warnings when a capture may be incomplete - Redact emails, phone numbers, SSNs, payment-card-like numbers, API-key-like values, names, and custom terms - Export selected content as Markdown, JSON, HTML, printable PDF HTML, evidence-pack HTML, or a portable project-context package - Copy selected context to NotebookLM, Obsidian, or another AI workspace Supported sources include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot, along with supported structured archives and local transcript files. Compatibility references describe supported sources only; they do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or partnership. Your archive stays in Chrome local storage unless you choose to export, copy, or send selected content elsewhere. The current codebase does not include third-party analytics or a developer cloud archive. Capture depends on the content available in your signed-in browser session. AI sites can change their page structure, so review capture-health warnings when they appear. Redaction adds a safety layer, but you should review sensitive exports before sharing.
