AI Chat Exporter saves chats from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and NotebookLM as PDF, Markdown, Word (.docx) or Obsidian notes, with the formatting intact. WHAT YOU GET • The whole chat: it scrolls back to the first message before exporting, so long conversations come out complete. • ChatGPT web sources as footnotes, plus code, tables, KaTeX maths and generated images. • NotebookLM citations as real footnotes, so every claim keeps its source. • Code blocks with their language, tables, maths, quotes and images, laid out cleanly. • PDFs with real, selectable text, set out for A4 and US Letter. • Word documents with proper headings, so the navigation pane and table of contents work. • Obsidian notes with frontmatter, tags and images saved as attachments. • Sensible file names, such as "Pricing ideas (Claude, 2026-10-17).pdf", which you can change. The extension asks for no access to your browsing until you click its icon on a chat page. Bulk export asks for access to that one site, only when you use it.
