Save ChatGPT and Gemini answers as local Markdown files with code blocks and rich formatting preserved.

AI Answer to Markdown saves visible ChatGPT and Gemini answers as local Markdown files, so you can keep useful AI responses in your notes, documentation, or Obsidian vault. The extension runs locally in Chrome. Open a supported ChatGPT or Gemini conversation, choose a folder, and click Save Markdown. The generated file keeps common Markdown structure such as headings, paragraphs, lists, quotes, tables, links, images, inline code, and fenced code blocks. Key features: - Export ChatGPT and Gemini answers to `.md` files - Save directly to a folder selected by the user - Preserve code blocks, inline code, tables, links, lists, and headings - Optionally include user prompts - Optionally include YAML frontmatter with source URL and creation time - Avoid overwriting existing files by creating unique filenames - No external server, account, analytics, or cloud sync
