Connect your own OpenAI-compatible API to translate standalone text, selected text, or complete webpages without leaving your current page. Whether you are reading international news, technical documentation, study materials, or everyday work content, translation is always available from the context menu. Full-page translation offers two display modes: replace the original text for focused reading, or preserve it for a bilingual, side-by-side experience. Key features: - Standalone text translation: Enter or paste text, choose source and target languages, and copy or retranslate the result. - Selection translation: Select text on any supported webpage and translate it directly from the context menu. - Full-page translation: Extract visible page content while skipping code, buttons, form controls, and hidden text. - Bilingual view: Keep the original text alongside its translation, or replace the original completely. - Dynamic content support: Detect and translate lazy-loaded or newly added page content as it appears. - Translation controls: Follow full-page progress, cancel a task, retry failed items, or restore the original page. - 17 supported languages: Includes Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and more, with automatic source-language detection. - Local translation history: Keep the 30 most recent standalone text translations in local browser storage for quick access. Privacy and data: - Text is sent to your configured API endpoint only when you explicitly start a translation. - Your API key, model profiles, and translation history stay in local browser storage and are not browser-synchronized. - The extension has no relay server, telemetry, analytics, usage tracking, or advertising. - Webpage originals, webpage translations, and complete API request bodies are not persistently stored by the extension.
