AHSA Student Browser Monitor
Overview
Headless browser activity monitoring for school-managed Chromebooks. No student-facing UI — runs silently in the background.
AHSA Student Browser Monitor is a managed Chrome extension deployed on school Chromebooks to ensure safe and productive internet use. It runs silently in the background with no student-facing UI. The extension monitors browsing activity (URLs visited, page titles, and tab usage), enforces school URL-blocking policies using declarative net request rules, and reports telemetry to the school's monitoring server. Blocked pages display a clear notification explaining why access was restricted and allow students to request access from their teacher. All data is transmitted securely to school administrators only. This extension is intended for force-installation via Google Workspace enterprise policy on student devices within the school's organizational unit
