Export a ChatGPT or Claude conversation as resumable Claude Code / Codex CLI sessions.

Keep the conversation. Change the tool. You worked something out in ChatGPT or Claude. Now you want to build it in your terminal. Don't copy and paste the whole chat, and don't explain it all again. chat-extract moves the conversation into Claude Code or Codex CLI in one click. The coding agent starts with the full history, so you just keep going. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a chat on chatgpt.com or claude.ai. 2. Click the chat-extract icon. 3. Pick Claude Code, Codex CLI, or both, and enter the folder of the project you want to work in. 4. Click Export. 5. Copy the install command it shows you and paste it into your terminal. 6. Copy the resume command and run it. Your conversation is already there. WHAT COMES WITH YOU • Every message you can see, in the right order • Voice chats, as text • Only the version of the chat you're looking at. Edits you moved away from stay behind.
