Overview

Shows what a job posting's text states about visa sponsorship, with the exact sentence as evidence. Runs entirely on your device.

If you need visa sponsorship, you already know the drill. You find a role that looks perfect, read the whole posting, and only at the very end do you find out whether they'll sponsor. Or you don't find out at all, apply anyway, and hear nothing back. Hirefox saves you that time. Open a job posting and a small fox appears in the corner with the answer: • Green: the posting says sponsorship is available. • Red: it says sponsorship isn't offered, or it asks for US citizenship, a security clearance or US-person status, which rules out anyone who needs a visa. • Yellow: it doesn't mention sponsorship, or the wording is unclear. Click the fox and it shows you the exact sentence it found, quoted word for word, so you're never taking its word for it. Requirements like citizenship or clearance are listed separately, so you spot the fine print before you spend an hour on an application. For jobs in the US, the fox also checks the company's H-1B history. It tells you, in plain words, how many H-1B applications the company has filed each year and how many so far this year, with a small chart. This comes from public U.S. Department of Labor records that ship inside the extension, so it works instantly and nothing is looked up online. It's the company's track record, not a promise about this particular job, but it's often the clearest signal you'll get. It works automatically on the big job boards and applicant-tracking sites you switch on, and on any other career page with one click on the Hirefox button. A word on privacy, because it matters here. Hirefox reads the posting you're looking at and shows you what it says. That's all. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing about you or the pages you visit is sent anywhere. It keeps a short note of each job it checked, just the relevant sentences, on your own computer, so reopening a job is instant; the note deletes itself after 12 hours, and you can clear it any time. It never reads email, banking, payment or health sites, and one switch pauses it completely. Hirefox describes what a posting's text says. It isn't legal advice, and it isn't a statement about how an employer actually hires. Hirefox is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any job site, employer or government agency. Made by someone who went through this search himself and wanted a faster way through it.
