Klips AI puts an AI assistant inside Klipfolio Klips, available as a sidebar or floating window on every page. Ask a question in plain language and get an answer grounded in your own dashboards, Klips, and data sources — no query syntax, no switching tabs, no exporting to another tool. When you're ready to build, describe what you want and Klips AI creates it for you. What you can do: - Explore your data — list your data sources, check refresh times, and surface what's changed - Summarize dashboards — get a plain-language read on what a dashboard shows and what it measures - Understand your Klips — ask what a visualization means, and dig into patterns, trends, and comparisons - Build Klips and dashboards — describe the view you need and Klips AI generates and creates it - Handle account admin — answer questions about users, client accounts, dashboard allocation, published links, and asset usage What you need: - An active Klipfolio Klips account. The extension connects securely through your Klipfolio login using OAuth. - An API key from a supported AI provider. Your provider bills you directly for usage, and you choose which model to run. Your data: Your API key is stored locally in the extension and sent only to the AI provider you select. Klipfolio access is handled through OAuth — the extension never sees your Klipfolio password.
