Notelle

Notes encrypted on your device; not even the developer can read them. Markdown, notebooks, passkeys. Pro: sync via Google Drive.

Your notes are encrypted on your device. Not even the developer can read them. Notelle is a Markdown notepad that protects your notes with a passphrase only you know. Journals, work ideas, drafts you would rather keep to yourself: write them down in a space that is yours alone. No Notelle account to create, and no ads. With Pro, your notes sync through your own Google Drive, still encrypted. ■ Features • Encryption you can trust: AES-256-GCM encryption on your device. Unlock with a passkey on supported devices • Markdown: tables, code, math, diagrams and checklists • Easy to organize and find: notebooks, tags, pins, [[links between notes]] and fast search • Ready for slips: trash, version history and encrypted backups (also in Free) • Import from Google Keep and Markdown files • Choose your theme: 16 themes (3 in Free), in 12 languages ■ Free and Pro Free: all note features on your device. No ads. Pro: Google Drive sync, encrypted attachments (images, video, PDF and more), automatic Drive backups and all 16 themes. Syncing requires signing in with a Google account. Notelle uses its own hidden folder in your Google Drive, and notes and attachments are stored there encrypted. Pro is activated with a license key. There is a one-time purchase and a yearly plan, sold through Polar, our merchant of record. An email address is required to purchase, and your license key arrives by email. ■ Please note If you forget your passphrase, your notes cannot be recovered. Removing the extension also deletes the notes on this device. We recommend saving an encrypted backup of the notes that matter to you. Privacy Policy: https://notelle.net/privacy
