WHAT'S NEW IN 2.3.1 - Fixed silent failure when opening files via the popup. - Stopped hijacking .ags drops on sites with their own uploads. - Tidied a couple of toolbar / welcome page rough edges. PRIVACY This extension runs entirely in your browser. No data is collected, transmitted, or stored externally. All file processing happens locally. PERMISSIONS - "Read and change all your data on all websites": Required to detect AGS file links, provide hover hints, and preview attachments in Gmail. - "Manage your downloads": Required to intercept .ags file downloads and open them in the viewer. - "Context menus": Required for right-click field lookup and viewer access. - "Storage": Required to save your preferences (hover hints toggle, download interception setting, validation rule toggles). - "Active tab": Required to send field-lookup messages to the page you are currently viewing. - "Scripting": Required to inject the Gmail attachment preview overlay and field-lookup popup into the current tab. It is maintained by the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS). This extension is an independent tool and is not affiliated with the AGS. The parser, validator, and diff engine are best-effort implementations and may miss edge cases such as malformed files, non-standard groups, unusual encodings, or ambiguous rows. A clean validation result does not certify that a file is standards-compliant. Do not rely on this tool's output for safety-critical, contractual, or regulatory decisions without independent verification against the authoritative AGS specification and the file's source data.
