Overview

Complete agile toolkit: objective story pointing with rubric-based estimation plus velocity tracking and sprint capacity planning

Objective Story Points — plan faster, stay consistent Take the guesswork out of sprint planning. This extension enables consistent, objective estimates, pulls recent velocity from Jira, and plans capacity quickly. ✨ Key features Objective Story Pointing: Score Scope, Complexity, Ambiguity, Dependencies on a 0–4 rubric. Scope includes cross‑team guidance (score next level up). Auto Fibonacci Mapping: Sum maps to 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 automatically. Jira Issue Key Auto‑detect: Prefills the issue key when the current tab is a Jira issue page (e.g., .../browse/KEY-123 or .../boards/{id}?selectedIssue=KEY-123). One‑click Jira Actions: Save + comment: posts the breakdown to the Jira ticket. Finalize: updates the Jira Story Points field. Velocity Tracking (auto or manual): Load velocity from your Jira project URL or extract from the current tab; edit values inline and persist them. Capacity Planning: Option 1: Simple proportional adjustment by available engineer‑days. Option 2: Normalized velocity using per‑sprint capacities. Fast, compact UI: Optimized layout for quick planning sessions. Persistent storage: Team config, estimates, velocity, and capacity inputs are saved and restored. 🔒 Privacy No accounts, no external servers; data is stored locally in Chrome storage. Jira actions use your existing Jira session in the browser. 🚀 Quick start Open the extension. Confirm Team Name and Jira Project URL; the Jira Issue Key will auto‑fill if a Jira issue tab is open. Score the story with the 4‑dimension rubric; see Fibonacci points instantly. Click “Save + Jira Comment” (optional) and “Finalize” to update Jira Story Points. Load velocity from your project URL or extract from the current tab, then plan capacity with Option 1 or 2. Make sprint planning predictable, objective, and fast—without the overhead.
