Remember why a person or post mattered. X-notes adds a personal notebook to public pages on X. Click the notebook at the bottom left of a public X page, or Add note on a post, to write a dated text note. Return to that page to see your saved notes. Search your own words and captured source text in the web notebook at https://x-notes.app. Contacts groups people from your profile and post notes automatically. English and Arabic notes are supported. 100 active notes are free. Pro costs $5/month or $29/year for up to 10,000 notes, verified-owner activity and identity hiding while paid. Deleting a note frees a slot; downgrading preserves access to your existing notes. DATA AND VISIBILITY Your note text stays private. X-notes uses public X page URLs for note-count lookup and syncs your X identity, notes and captured source text with your web notebook. Premium verified owners can see your X name, handle, avatar and most recent note date when you take notes on their profile or posts. Free users have no identity opt-out. Active paid users can hide their identity on past and future notes; hiding ends automatically at paid expiry. Hidden users contribute only an anonymous count. Note text is never included in owner activity. Connect your own X account before saving. New saves require complete selected source text through the official X API; failed capture keeps your local draft for Retry. Your own note remains if copied source becomes unavailable. DMs, settings, account-recovery and payment screens are excluded. Permissions are limited to storage for drafts/settings/session, identity for secure sign-in handoff, public X page access for the notebook controls, and x-notes.app for authenticated sync.
