PRIMARY PURPOSE This extension records which browser tab you are actively using and stores that information on your organization's dedicated MyDesk hostname. It is intended for internal organizational use only. WHAT IT RECORDS • Active tab URL and page title • Whether the tab is playing audio • Whether the tab is in incognito/private mode • Browser name and computer hostname HOW IT WORKS • Collects active tab information from your browser • Sends the data to the MyDesk service configured for your organization • Stores activity against your assigned hostname so it can be used internally • Shows connection status and last update details in the extension popup • Lets you configure browser name, hostname, and access settings WHO IT IS FOR This extension is for employees whose organization has deployed MyDesk. It is not a standalone public product and is meant for internal use within your company.
