AgentDash
Overview
Your Claude.ai, OpenRouter and ChatGPT usage as a dashboard — in Chrome's sidebar and on your new tab. Blueprint Ledger style.
AgentDash is a technical ledger of your AI provider usage — Claude.ai, ChatGPT and OpenRouter today, more providers via a simple plugin pattern — always one click away in Chrome's sidebar, and on your new tab page if you want it there. WHY No AI provider ships a proper usage dashboard. AgentDash fixes that: it reads your existing Claude.ai and ChatGPT sessions and your OpenRouter account and shows session %, weekly limit, rate-limit windows, credit balance, and a 24-hour burn graph — the moment you look. WHERE IT SHOWS UP • Sidebar: click the toolbar icon and the dashboard opens in Chrome's own side panel, next to the page you are reading. Nothing to enable (Chrome 116+). • New tab page: on by default and switchable off in the setup wizard or under Settings → Browser — the dashboard is not tied to your new tab. • Settings page: providers and API keys, browser behaviour, about, reset. HOW IT WORKS • Claude.ai: uses your existing browser login. AgentDash calls Claude's usage API directly from its own dashboard page using your session cookies — no content script, nothing installed on claude.ai itself, and no background fetching: the extension's service worker only opens the setup tab after install and makes the toolbar icon toggle the sidebar. • ChatGPT: same as Claude.ai, one step longer. ChatGPT's usage API rejects cookies alone, so AgentDash first reads the access token your own browser session already grants (/api/auth/session) and then makes a single read of your rate-limit windows (/backend-api/wham/usage). The token is used for that one request and never stored. • OpenRouter: you paste a Management (Provisioning) API key once. It's used only to call the two read-only endpoints /api/v1/credits and /api/v1/keys. • Every result is cached locally (chrome.storage.local), so the dashboard shows your last known usage instantly wherever you open it, then refreshes in the background. FEATURES • Cache-first display — instant on every open, refreshes silently • Two surfaces, one dashboard: sidebar and new tab share the same data, sheets and cache • Manual ⟳ REFRESH for all providers at once • Numbered ledger rows: SESSION (5-hour window with reset countdown), WEEK/MONTH limit, ChatGPT rate-limit windows, and OpenRouter credit balance • 24h burn graph (SVG line chart) of session/weekly usage • 365-day GitHub-style activity heatmap • Per-provider error banner (not logged in, Cloudflare challenge, invalid key, etc.) • Blueprint Ledger visual style: near-black background, one coral accent color, monospace type (Space Mono / IBM Plex Mono), technical-drawing register marks READ-ONLY, LOCAL-ONLY AgentDash never writes to any provider — no creating, changing, or deleting API keys, no trades, no payments. It only calls read endpoints. Nothing is sent to any third party or to any AgentDash-operated server (there is none). All cached usage history and the OpenRouter key you enter stay in chrome.storage.local, local to your browser profile; the ChatGPT access token is never written there at all. SETUP 1. Install the extension. A short setup wizard opens in one tab: pick the providers you use, connect each of them, and decide whether AgentDash also takes over your new-tab page (the sidebar works either way). Skipping the wizard is a valid answer — it starts you on an empty dashboard with no provider activated, and you add them later. 2. Open claude.ai and chatgpt.com once and log in — that usage now appears automatically. 3. Optional: add an OpenRouter Management API key in the OpenRouter panel to see credit balance and per-key usage. OPEN SOURCE AgentDash is open source. Review the code, file issues, or add a new provider — see the project repository for details.
