Agate JSON Viewer is a lightweight Chrome extension for viewing, formatting, validating, searching, and exporting JSON data. The extension lets users paste or import JSON, beautify or minify it, inspect it in a collapsible tree view, filter by key or value, export formatted JSON, and identify invalid JSON with clear error details, including line, column, position, and code-frame hints. Agate JSON Viewer is designed for developers, testers, analysts, support teams, and business users who frequently inspect API responses, configuration files, structured data, and JSON content from browser pages. All JSON processing is performed locally inside the browser. The extension does not require user login, does not send JSON content to any external server, and does not sell or transfer user data.
