PaperBear Connector

Save papers to your PaperBear library in one click. Recognizes paper pages, search results and PDFs, and attaches the PDF too.

PaperBear Connector saves the papers you're reading on the web to your PaperBear library (https://paperbear.jportal.cloud). ■ One click to save Click the bear icon in the toolbar on a paper page and it's saved right away. The extension reads the page's meta tags, JSON-LD, COinS and DOIs, and when there's a DOI, arXiv ID or ISBN it looks the paper up in public scholarly databases to fill in the title, authors, journal and year accurately. Right after saving, you can pick a collection and tags. ■ Save several papers from search results On pages with many papers, like search results or tables of contents, the icon shows how many were found. Choose the ones you want and save them all at once. Papers already in your library are marked. ■ PDFs come along too The PDF the page points to, or the PDF you're viewing, is downloaded and attached to the paper. PDFs available through your university or institutional subscription in the browser work too. You can turn this off in Settings. ■ Right-click and keyboard shortcuts · Ctrl/⌘ + Shift + S saves the current page · Right-click a link to save it · Select a DOI, arXiv ID or ISBN in a reference list and right-click to save it ■ After saving Read PDFs, highlight and take notes, export to BibTeX or RIS, and create citations in the PaperBear web, desktop and mobile apps.
