AetherTab automatically parses page domains to display colorful capsule badges (e.g., "ChatGPT", "GitHub", "Google Search"). Choose to grant GPS permission for auto-detection, or manually search for any city. Click the temperature to toggle Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). 8. ☁️ Cross-Device Sync (Optional) Enable Chrome Sync to keep your collections and preferences aligned across devices signed into the same Chrome profile. Sync is off by default — you stay in control. 9. 🧼 One-Click Drag & Drop Tab Cleanup Drag active tabs from the left sidebar directly into any collection to save them. The extension automatically closes saved tabs in Chrome, keeping your browser tabs perfectly clean. 🔒 PRIVACY FIRST: We take your data security seriously. AetherTab is zero-tracking and serverless — we do not operate external servers or collect analytics. By default, all your tab collections and settings are stored locally in your browser. If you choose to enable Sync, selected data (collections, theme, color scheme, and weather preferences) is stored via your signed-in Chrome profile's sync storage. No data is sent to AetherTab or any third-party backend.
