Aether is an AI assistant that drives the real Chrome you are already using, from the side panel. It reads the current page, clicks, fills forms, scrolls, takes screenshots and turns the result into structured output. Everything happens in your own browser session with your own logins — no copying URLs, no second window. Install the extension and open the side panel 2. The first run asks you to install the local runtime (a small background program, ~140 MB, one click) 3. Add your own model endpoint and API key Privacy Aether does not collect browsing history and does not sell data. Only when you start a task, the page text, screenshots and tool results needed for that task are sent to the model service you configured. The full policy is linked on this page.
