Overview
Pin comments on any website. Collaborate with your team directly on live pages.
SharedLayers is website feedback without screenshots or long explanations. Click a button, a heading or a price, say what should change, and the comment stays on that element. Everyone in the layer sees the same pins on the same page. Works on any page you can open A client's staging site, an internal tool behind a login, production you cannot touch, an app running on your own computer. Nothing has to be installed on the site. Comments that stay where you left them - Pinned to elements, not coordinates: pins follow scrolling, resizing and route changes in single-page apps. - Every comment keeps a picture of the page as it looked, so the thread still makes sense after the next deploy. - Threads with @mentions, reactions, attached images and a resolve button. - The side panel lists every comment on the site, with filters. A layer for each review - A layer is one set of comments on a site: a client review, a QA round, an accessibility audit. - Invite people by email, or give a client an access key and they join with just a name. - Alt+H hides everything when you want the page back. Work with AI - Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any app that speaks MCP. It reads each comment with its element and picture, changes the code, then replies and resolves it in your name. - AI layers (Pro): on an app running on your own computer, each comment goes straight to the coding agent in your project, whether that is Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or Claude Code. It makes the change and answers in the thread. It runs on your own plan with that app; SharedLayers runs no AI of its own for this and sees none of your code. - Talk (Pro): say what you want while you circle things on the page, and each sentence becomes a comment on what you drew. - Improve (Pro): one click under the comment or reply box rewrites what you typed so it reads clearly. Only your text is sent, nothing from the page. Send comments where your team works - Jira and ClickUp (Pro): turn a comment into an issue or a task with the page, the element, the replies and the picture. When it is done there, the comment resolves itself. - Slack: post a layer's new comments to a channel, with replies and resolving in each message's thread. Apps on your own computer On localhost, comments are kept in the project's .sharedlayers folder rather than on our servers, and your own computer never counts as a domain. Plans - Free: one domain with all its subdomains, unlimited comments and layers, up to 5 people in a layer. - Pro: blocks of five domains, the script for your own sites, unlimited people, AI layers, Talk, Jira and ClickUp, CSV export.
