MuteNote mute sync

Tells the MuteNote app when you mute in Google Meet, so what you say while muted stays out of your recording.

Google Meet keeps your microphone open while you’re muted, so a meeting recorder would still hear you. This extension fixes that for MuteNote, the meeting recorder that runs on your laptop without joining your calls as a bot. When you mute or unmute with Meet’s own microphone button, the extension tells the MuteNote app on your computer. When the recording stops, MuteNote silences the stretches where you were muted on your side of the recording, so muted conversation never reaches your transcript or notes. • Works with Meet’s own mute button and keyboard shortcut • Only reads whether you’re muted, only on meet.google.com • Talks only to the MuteNote app on the same computer, never to a server • No account, no settings Needs the MuteNote app: download it free at https://mutenote.com.
