It cleverly intercepts these window.open calls without breaking the website. Layer 3: Redirect Chasing For the sneakiest pop-ups that slip through (like about:blank redirects), our event-driven background script monitors the new tab and closes it instantly if it redirects to a suspicious URL. It's lightweight, privacy-first (it never reads your history), and gives you a simple On/Off switch. No complicated setup, just effective blocking. Version 2.2: The 3-Layer Defense Update!
