Save My Grades is an AI study assistant for Chrome. Whether a question comes from an online course, a learning platform, or an ordinary web page, you can select text, capture an area of the screen, or let the extension find visible questions on the current page. Get clear, step-by-step explanations without leaving the page you are studying. It does more than provide a conclusion. Save My Grades focuses on laying out the solution path and explaining key transitions so you can understand why each step works and what to do next. Key features Select to explain Select a question, concept, or difficult passage on a web page and ask Save My Grades to explain it in context. You can also start an explanation quickly from the Chrome context menu. Solve from a captured area When a question contains formulas, diagrams, images, or text that is difficult to copy, drag to capture the relevant area. Submit the screenshot to AI for analysis and receive a conclusion with step-by-step guidance. You can also press Alt+Shift+S on Windows or Linux, or Option+Shift+S on macOS, to start capturing an area. Find questions on the page Analyze visible questions on the current page with one click, then review answers and steps in a batch. If the page structure cannot be detected automatically, use area capture or select the question text instead. Persistent AI sidebar Paste a question, enter what you are unsure about, or upload an attachment in the sidebar. Keep asking follow-up questions about the same problem while the sidebar stays beside the original page, preserving the flow between reading, thinking, and asking. Answer language The answer language can follow the question automatically or be fixed to Simplified Chinese or English in settings. Attachments and formulas Upload images, TXT, Markdown, and CSV files. Answers support common Markdown formatting such as headings, lists, bold text, and inline code, as well as inline and display math formulas. Install the extension and sign in with your Google Account. 2. Select text on a web page, capture a screenshot of a question, or choose “Solve page.” 3. Review the conclusion and steps from the AI. Permissions and privacy To provide text selection, screenshots, the sidebar, context-menu actions, and saved preferences, the extension needs permission to access the current tab, run the necessary scripts on web pages, display the side panel, store settings, and create context-menu items. When you actively submit a question, request an explanation from the context menu, upload an attachment, capture an area, or start a page analysis, the relevant content is sent to the server for processing. Verify it against your course materials and your own judgment, and follow the rules of your school, examination authority, and the websites you use.
