Stop opening up windows on Facebook any time I do anything on that site to try and get me to post about it. You are as bad, if not worse than the ads you're blocking, if you do this. At least the prolific ads on Facebook don't open a new window and hijack what I was doing to market themselves.

After a lot of searching i found this that really works.

As others have said it works and does block the sponsored advert posts on the Facebook newsfeed. However, beware of the annoying feature where it attempts to post an advert for itself under your name, the irony.
