Nadinha

Learn a language from anything you read or watch. Translate words and subtitles, save them, and review with flashcards.

Learn languages from the things you already read and watch. Hold ⌥ Option (Alt on Windows) and hover over any word to see its translation. Highlight a phrase to translate it. It works on news sites, social media, and on Netflix and YouTube subtitles, where the video pauses while you read. Every word you save keeps the sentence it came from, so your flashcards show real context, not a dictionary list. FEATURES • Hover translation: hold ⌥ / Alt over any word, on any site • Video subtitles: works on Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+ and most players. The video pauses while you look something up • Phrases: press ← → to grow a word into a phrase, or translate the whole subtitle line • Offline and private: uses Chrome's built-in translator, which runs on your own computer • Smart flashcards: spaced repetition (FSRS) schedules each word for when you're about to forget it • Quiz modes: meaning, recall, fill-in-the-blank from your own sentences, with typed answers that check accents • Pronunciation: hear any word or sentence • Export to CSV (Anki) or JSON at any time • AI tutor: ask about what you're watching ("why no 'ne' here?", "explain the joke", "quiz me on this scene"). 10 free questions a month with a free account • Your dashboard at nadinha.com: review flashcards and manage words on any computer, synced with the extension • Mac app: the same ⌥ trick in PDFs, Word, Mail and other apps (free during the beta) FREE AND PREMIUM Translation is free and unlimited. A free account saves up to 100 new words a month. Premium (£4.99/month or £29.99/year, with a free 7-day trial) adds unlimited saves and 500 tutor questions a month. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Translation runs on your own computer. Start without an account; sign in only when you want your dashboard. No ads, no tracking.
