Adobe Tag Inspector
Overview
DevTools panel for capturing Adobe Analytics hits (AppMeasurement/Web SDK). Master–detail UI, newest-first list, empty values shown.
Adobe Tag Inspector is a developer tool that enables the inspection and analysis of Adobe Analytics hits directly in the browser. The extension captures and displays data sent to Adobe Analytics in real time, allowing quick verification of implementation accuracy, variable configuration, and tracking logic. The extension operates as a panel within Chrome DevTools and automatically detects requests sent via AppMeasurement and Adobe Web SDK. Each hit is parsed into a clear, structured format, including eVars, props, events, and technical parameters. Adobe Tag Inspector is designed for analysts, developers, and implementation teams. It enables fast filtering, searching, and comparison of hits without the need for external tools or additional debuggers. Key use cases: -> Debugging Adobe Analytics implementations -> Verifying eVars, props, and events -> Inspecting hit order and payload contents -> Analyzing tag behavior in real time -> Supporting QA and pre-release testing The extension operates entirely locally and does not store or transmit any data outside the user’s browser.
