Opens clicked links beside their source tab while leaving your browser's New Tab behavior untouched.

Keep related tabs together without changing how your browser's New Tab button works. AdjacenTab places a link opened from the current page directly beside its source tab. The destination is created in its final position from the start, avoiding the jump to the end of a long tab strip. It is especially useful with vertical tabs. Works with: • Links that normally open in a new tab • Ctrl/Cmd-click • Middle-click Stays out of the way: • The New Tab button and Ctrl+T keep their normal end-of-list behavior • No toolbar button, popup, dashboard, or settings page • No account, ads, analytics, or tracking • No browsing data is stored or sent anywhere AdjacenTab is deliberately focused on one job: placing user-clicked link tabs beside the page they came from. Browser-internal pages, Shift-click new windows, JavaScript-only popups, and the browser's native “Open link in new tab” context-menu command remain browser-controlled.
