Adinand Email Cleaner

Clean your Gmail inbox sender by sender. Headers only — the extension never reads message bodies.

Adinand Email Cleaner shows you who fills your Gmail inbox, and lets you clean it sender by sender. Sign in with Google and it lists the senders in your inbox, grouped by sender domain, with the most frequent at the top. Choose a sender and move all of its emails to Trash or to the archive in one step. WHAT IT DOES • See your inbox by sender. The extension reads up to 5,000 emails in your inbox and groups them by who sent them, so the newsletters and shops that send the most are easy to spot. • Trash or archive a sender's emails. It covers every email from that sender, including ones you have already archived. You see how many emails will move, and nothing happens until you confirm. Gmail keeps trashed emails for 30 days before deleting them permanently. • Unsubscribe. Where a sender supports one-click unsubscribe, the extension sends the request for you. Otherwise it opens the sender's unsubscribe page, or an email for you to send yourself. • Cleanup Rules. Create a Gmail filter that trashes or archives a sender's future emails. Delete a rule any time, here or in Gmail's settings. • Try the demo — sample data, no sign-in needed. Every screen works on twelve fictional senders before you give the extension access to anything. FREE IN CHROME 2,500 emails on your first clean, then 250 a month, and up to 3 rules. There is no paid tier in Chrome. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It never reads what your emails say and never opens attachments. It reads headers only: who sent each email, its subject line, its date and its size. • No server. The extension connects only to Google's Gmail and sign-in servers, straight from Chrome. Nothing is sent to us. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. • It works only while its page is open, and only on what you confirm. Works in Chrome on a computer.
