Control AdGuard Home from your browser: toggle protection, pause it temporarily, view stats, allow or block the current page.

AdGuard Home Toggle lets you control your self-hosted AdGuard Home server directly from your browser — no need to open its web interface every time. FEATURES • Turn protection on or off with a single tap of a toggle switch • Temporarily disable protection for 30 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours — perfect for sites that misbehave with filtering on • See DNS query statistics at a glance: total requests, how many were blocked, and the percentage blocked, with a compact chart • Instantly allow or block the site you're currently viewing — the extension checks first whether a rule already exists (from your own rules or from a subscribed filter list) so you never add duplicate or conflicting rules • The toolbar icon itself changes color depending on whether protection is currently active, so you can see the status at a glance without opening the popup • Interface automatically switches between English and German based on your browser's language REQUIREMENTS This extension talks directly to your own AdGuard Home instance's API. You need: • A running AdGuard Home server that you control • A network path to reach it from your browser (local network, VPN, or an overlay network like Tailscale/WireGuard) • Your AdGuard Home username and password It will NOT work if your AdGuard Home instance sits behind a single sign-on / two-factor login gate (such as Authelia, Authentik, or a similar reverse-proxy authentication layer) — the extension can only handle AdGuard Home's own username/password login, not a separate SSO layer in front of it. A plain reverse proxy with just TLS (no separate login step) works fine. PRIVACY Your AdGuard Home server address, username, and password are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. Nothing is ever sent anywhere except the exact server address you configure — there is no third-party server, analytics, or tracking involved. SETUP 1. Install the extension 2. The settings page opens automatically — enter your AdGuard Home server URL (e.g. http://192.168.1.100) and your login credentials 3. Click "Save & Test Login" and approve the one-time browser permission prompt for that address 4. Click the extension icon any time to control your AdGuard Home instance
