PRIVATE BY DESIGN This is a form-fill tool: it never reads the active tab or any page content, requests no host permissions, and injects no scripts. The event details you enter never leave your browser — the `.ics` file is generated and downloaded entirely locally, and every "add to calendar" link is built as a plain text string for you to copy, never sent anywhere or opened by this extension itself. This extension collects no data of any kind — no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry. The only network traffic it ever makes is with ExtensionPay, our payment provider, to check your purchase/license status — this happens for every user so the extension knows whether premium is unlocked — and, only if you choose to upgrade, to open ExtensionPay's hosted checkout (backed by Stripe). Your event details are never part of that traffic. BUILT ON THE ACTUAL SPEC, NOT GUESSWORK - RFC 5545 content-line folding is byte-accurate (based on UTF-8 octets, not character count), so a long description or a description full of accented letters, emoji, or other multi-byte characters still produces a spec-correct file. - Text values (title, description, location) are escaped correctly for backslashes, semicolons, commas, and line breaks, so punctuation-heavy descriptions round-trip cleanly into your calendar app. - All-day events use the correct "exclusive end date" — the last day you pick is fully included, never dropped or double-counted. No subscription, no account required — pay once, keep the features. A NOTE ON TIMEZONES This extension never converts the event time you see or type. "UTC" mode means the time you typed is treated as already being UTC. A selected timezone mode means the time you typed is tagged with that zone's name, honored by your calendar app; on the Google Calendar link specifically, that zone name is passed through Google's own timezone parameter. Outlook, Office365, and Yahoo's link formats don't have an equivalent parameter, so a selected timezone on those links falls back to your local wall-clock time — this extension tells you when that happens rather than silently guessing. One exception, entirely behind the scenes: for a recurring event with a specific timezone and an end date, the calendar-file standard requires that end boundary to be written in UTC even though the rest of your event stays in your chosen zone — so this extension works out, using your browser's own built-in timezone data (never a server, never anything sent anywhere), the correct UTC instant for "end of your last recurrence day, in your chosen zone." This keeps your last occurrence from being cut off in zones far from UTC. It never changes the time you typed or see anywhere in the app.
