Google now lets you pick custom colors — but only one event at a time, shown as tiny dots on timed events. WHAT'S NEW — Rules engine (2026) Google Calendar added native custom colors, so we've evolved into what it still doesn't do: • Automatic coloring rules — e.g. any event whose title contains "Meeting" turns orange. Set it once, and it applies to every matching event, forever. • Full color bars on timed events — not just small dots — so you can scan two weeks at a glance and instantly read your schedule. • Manual per-event override — recolor any single event on the fly; a manual color always wins over your rules. • Smart readable text — black or white is chosen automatically for perfect contrast, or set it yourself. • Synced to your account — your colors and rules follow you across devices. HOW TO USE Automatic rules (the magic): 1. Click the extension icon in your browser bar and sign in with your Google account. 2. In the popup, open "Automatic coloring rules" and add a rule — for example: Title contains "Standup" → green. 3. Go to Google Calendar. Every matching event is now colored automatically, as a full color bar. Color a single event manually: 1. Open or create an event, then click "🎨 More colors" next to Google's color option and pick any color. 2. Or, on the calendar grid, hover an event and click the color button that appears. 3. A manual color always overrides any rule for that event. Tip: text color (black/white) is set automatically for legibility — or choose it yourself per rule. HOW TO CANCEL YOUR PRO SUBSCRIPTION 1. Click the Add More Colors to Calendar icon in your browser bar. 2. Click the "Manage Subscription" link. 3. Log in to your account in Stripe. 4. Click "Cancel Subscription". HOW TO DELETE A SAVED COLOR 1. Click the extension icon and log in if needed. 2. Click the "✕" beside a saved color. 3.
