ADA Compliance Scanner
Overview
Scan webpages for WCAG accessibility issues, highlight failures, and export local reports using axe-core.
ADA Compliance Scanner helps developers, designers, website owners, and accessibility professionals identify common WCAG accessibility issues directly from Chrome. Open the extension on any webpage and start a scan to receive an organized accessibility report powered by the locally bundled axe-core testing engine. Features include: • Automated WCAG accessibility scanning • Accessibility score and issue summary • Issues organized by impact and priority • Affected HTML elements and selectors • On-page highlighting of detected elements • Contrast and remediation guidance • JSON report export • AI-ready fix prompts for use with coding assistants • Local processing with no page data sent to an external server The extension only analyzes the webpage when you explicitly start a scan. Results are processed locally in your browser and may be stored temporarily in Chrome session storage. Automated tools cannot guarantee full accessibility compliance. Manual testing, keyboard testing, screen-reader testing, and professional review may still be required.
