Overview

Blocks ads from view, captures them, and lets you swipe through them Tinder-style. Left = delete, right = visit.

Ad Stack blocks ads — and turns them into something useful. Most ad blockers throw ads away. Ad Stack hides every ad before it reaches your eyes, then quietly saves the ad's image and its real destination link, so YOU decide what happens to them — later, on your terms. WHAT IT DOES • Blocks ads from view. Ad elements are hidden before they ever render, so pages load clean. Pure tracking requests (analytics, session recorders) are blocked outright. • Captures every ad it hides. The ad's image and the advertiser's real landing page are saved — click-tracking redirect links are automatically unwrapped, so what's stored is the actual destination, not an ad network's tracker. • Deals them to you as a card stack. Click the toolbar icon and flip through the ads you never had to see, one card at a time. Swipe left to delete. Swipe right to open the advertiser's site in a new tab. Card backgrounds automatically adapt to each ad's colors, so even dark logos stay easy to see. • Keeps your archive in plain files you own. Ads are mirrored to a folder in your Downloads (ad_stack) as ordinary image files plus a human-readable ads.txt listing — no database, no lock-in. Choose how many ads to keep (1–500) and how often they're written to disk. WHY INSTALL IT Ads interrupt you at the worst possible moment — that's why they're annoying, not because every offer is useless. Ad Stack separates the two problems: you browse a completely ad-free web, and the ads pile up in a tidy deck you can flip through when you're in the mood to window-shop. Interesting offer? Swipe right and go straight to the advertiser. Junk? Swipe left and it's gone, file and all. You get the calm of an ad blocker and a browse-later inbox of deals — instead of a web that chases you with banners. PRIVACY Everything stays on your computer. To power its one feature, Ad Stack records each blocked ad's image, its destination link, and the address of the page where the ad appeared — that data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no data sales. Remove any ad — or all of them — whenever you like, and its files are deleted too. Our use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
