This extension completely screws up youtube videos. If embedded on other sites, videos have a black screen. And on youtube itself the audio plays before the video even starts and continues to play even after I pause a video.

definitely does NOT work - does NOTHING at all

Worked great for me for a bit. But after an update, Youtube broke in all kinds of ways, and I found this extension to be the cause of them. Most notably, audio sometimes playing twice with one instance that cannot be paused, and youtube not remembering anymore which videos I watched, nor where I had stopped the video.

Specifically does what it says, but the way it does it results in sometimes buggy performance. For starters, it replaces the default video player with a different one, so if YouTube updates the player this extension will have the interface outdated (as of writing this comment, it's already outdated). Secondly, sometimes the new video player is rendered on top of the original one, and they both play the same video resulting in a double audio bug... it's actually the original video player that ... first time trying it but doesn't seem to work at all. Also getting double audio bug and it's just not skipping anything.

Please fix double audio bug, it's annyoing won't get better even refreshing again again

As a previous user mentioned, finally figured out where comes the SUPER annoying double audio bug from, other YT issues (no after a several refresh it does not get immediately better), so removing it now, keeping one general blocking extension. (Thanks for your efforts tho'.)

New youtube update caused a series of bugs, from youtube not recognizing you are signed in for age restricted videos, the double audio bug (as mentioned, but refreshing fixed) and not being able to fullscreen. The problem seems to be that youtube thinking you are watching an imbedded video. Hopefully a new fix comes soon. Still worth dealing with all of the bugs over watching ads though.
