Ad Hush for Twitch

Mutes Twitch tabs while ads play and brings your sound back when the stream returns. Not affiliated with Twitch.

Ad Hush for Twitch mutes the tab while a Twitch ad is playing, then gives your sound back the moment the stream returns. Twitch ads often play much louder than the stream you were watching, so a quiet stream can suddenly blast at full volume. Ad Hush fixes that without touching your volume slider. HOW IT WORKS • When Twitch shows its ad-break banner on the player, Ad Hush mutes the tab right away. • Back-to-back ads stay muted, with no loud bursts in between. • When the ad break ends, your sound comes back at exactly the level you had. • The toolbar badge shows AD while an ad is being muted. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • If you mute a tab yourself, Ad Hush leaves it muted. • If you unmute during an ad, it won't mute it again. • Click the toolbar icon to pause Ad Hush (the badge shows OFF). Click again to turn it back on. PRIVACY Ad Hush runs only on twitch.tv, collects no data and sends nothing anywhere. The only thing it saves is whether you've switched it on or off. Ad Hush doesn't block or skip ads. They still play, just silently. Ad Hush is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twitch Interactive, Inc.
